The numbers
What the weather here is
The Guinea coast gets the rain belt twice — once on its way north in May and June, once on the way back in October — so Abidjan has a bimodal year with a distinct August lull, while Korhogo in the north has a single Sahelian season and half the total. That difference is the whole agricultural geography of the country: cocoa and coffee in the double-season forest belt, cotton and cattle in the single-season savanna. Abidjan's lagoon setting means the flooding risk is as much drainage as rainfall, and the worst of it arrives in June.
Where the official forecast is
This site is not a warning service. The official forecast and every watch and warning for Côte d'Ivoire comes from SODEXAM — Direction de la Météorologie Nationale.
What is on this page is the raw observation — the METAR itself, from the aerodrome named above it — with nothing added and nothing forecast.
